
Fedo Hagge-Kubat
Fedo focuses on building democratic resilience and digital advocacy across Europe. He joined DUB after several years at the Open Society Foundations, where served as the program manager of the “Europe’s Shared Future” program to strengthen intra‑European dialogue as well as with Ukraine.
Previously he served as Advocacy Officer designing strategies to promote democracy and human rights and introduced an innovative impact‑monitoring system. Before that he managed multi‑year policy projects as a Project Head/Analyst and expanded OSF’s partner network by 10 percent. Fedo also has parliamentary experience as a chief of staff and scientific advisor in the German Bundestag and worked as personal adviser to the Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office.

He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Konstanz and an M.A. in International Relations from Freie Universität Berlin, and he is currently completing the Harvard Kennedy School’s Public Leadership Credential. Fedo is a board member and COO of Citizens of Europe, a platform that organizes international youth exchanges and manages EU‑funded projects. Fluent in German and English, he aims to harness digital tools to broaden civic engagement and advance inclusive policymaking.
