ANNOUNCEMENT / Building Internal Resilience: Corruption Prevention in Ukraine’s Recovery

Updated: 2 days ago

On May 21, the conference called ‘Building Internal Resilience: Corruption Prevention in Ukraine’s Recovery’ will take place in Berlin. The event will bring together some of the Ukrainian, German, and international experts to take an honest stock of the achievements, institutional landscape, and necessary improvements and reforms of Ukraine’s anti-corruption efforts since 2014 and the full-scale invasion.

Before the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2024 in Berlin, this conference will focus on how corruption can be prevented during the ongoing fast recovery and longer-term recovery. The in-depth discussions of the workshops will be supplemented by an evening panel discussion aimed at a broader audience interested in Ukraine.

The conference is organized by the German-Ukrainian Bureau in cooperation with the Anti-Corruption Action Centre (AntAC, Ukraine). We are grateful for the support of our partners: the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI), the German Platform for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, the German State of North-Rhine Westfalia (NRW), and the Democracy Reporting International.

Please find the DETAILED PROGRAM of the conference here.

The working language of the conference (both workshops and evening discussion) is English, translation will not be provided.

If you are interested in the evening discussion, please register here.
